Gwen and Sylvie present their creations dedicated to heritage (but not only!): paintings, drawings, watercolors, collections, travel journals, wooden games, postcards, lamps and home decor. Come and discover the poetry and sensitivity of their work.SG Art et Mémoire is a place of creation, research and transmission located in Costa, about thirty minutes from L'Ile Rousse. Dedicated to the encounter between art, memory and territories, the space presents a range of original works: canvases, ink and charcoal drawings, watercolors... Unique originals, reproductions and postcards. As well as several collections of drawings devoted to the villages of Corsica, bearing witness to their atmosphere, their silhouettes and their human histories.
These works are complemented by original board games made on site, designed to help visitors discover Corsica's heritage, landscapes and know-how in a convivial way. Some games focus on the memory of Corsican villages, while others explore broader themes, always with a sensitive, educational approach that's accessible to all.
The space also offers a collection of books that extend this sensitive exploration:
- Carnets de voyages": with drawings and accounts of places documented by Sylvie, where each work of art dialogues with the memory of the landscape.
- collections of drawings dedicated to the soul of Corsican villages, combining observation, emotion and documentation,
- an educational exploration booklet for children, designed to convey the nature, history and gestures of the territory in a playful, autonomous and creative way: "Bo l'explorateur t'emmène en Corse" ("Bo the explorer takes you to Corsica").
At the same time, Gwen, the artist, is developing a broader range of work, exhibiting paintings, drawings and sculptures on other themes, in which imagination, symbolism and contemporary sensibility are deployed. Her approach combines precision of gesture, poetry of vision and attention to human stories.
Through its works, books and educational tools, SG Art et Mémoire promotes artistic and cultural transmission. Documentation, creation and territorial commitment come together to bring memory alive, accessible and shared with residents, visitors, families and children.
SG is also woodworking, with lamps and decorative objects made by Sylvie.
