From September 18 to 20, 2026, L’Ile-Rousse and the villages of Lisula will celebrate the 43rd European Heritage Days, dedicated to photography and the theme “Heritage in Peril: Revive, Resist, Reimagine.”
--- 2026 Edition: The Program ---

The 2nd edition of the “Heritage on the Move” photo contest, held in conjunction with European Mobility Week (September 16–22) and European Heritage Days (September 19–20).
The challenge? Take a photo that combines an element of local heritage with a sustainable mode of transportation (walking, biking, horseback riding, scooter, stand-up paddleboarding, etc.). Photos, taken within the last two years in one of the 22 municipalities in the region, must highlight both of these themes.
Prizes to be won—Entries accepted through September 21 (rules and entry form at the bottom of this page).
