This 3-hour family hike takes you on a journey to discover Costa, the smallest village in Balagne, and its surroundings. Starting from the village, the route follows ancient shepherds’ trails and crosses historic farmland toward San Bastianu. Over approximately 5 km and a 200-meter elevation gain, these landscapes—shaped by agricultural and pastoral activity—reveal a natural world that has gradually reclaimed its place.

A gourmet stop at A Cantina di a Costa lets you savor local specialties: cured meats, aged cheeses, and local wines offer a wonderful taste of Corsican flavors.

The return journey continues through a well-preserved heritage landscape, winding through cobblestone alleys, traditional buildings, and dry-stone structures. A pleasant stroll where nature, history, and traditions come together to reveal the authenticity of the Balagne region.
